The Autumn Show at Newark upon Trent a great day out for all the family. The Showground is situated two miles north east of the historic market town of Newark upon Trent an attractive market town situated along the river Trent with thr ruins of the Castle by the river. Newark offers you a wealth of history, interesting buildings and museums and is most famous for the period in history was during the Civil War in which it was a Royalist stronghold and withstood three sieges. Many reminders of that period can still be seen in the town.
